The water is present in much of my work. I have great love of water and sing the song of this love in many ways. I think of this piece as the radiating of sounds and water droplets, calling up also the rings on trees to give us the opportunity to speak to and of our ancestors who shared this same love of which the archive I have collected (1723-1972) is the proof. This archive of antique music was loved by so many, like raindrops in a puddle all singing beautiful songs through the ages. The glass gives ever new light because it reflects light for all time so the piece never dulls but always speaks of our present connections to our past.
